Project profile
This pear cold storage warehouse is located in Zhangjiagang Phoenix Town Feixiang Agricultural Park, with a design temperature of 0~5℃, with a main purpose for storing pears. The whole project occupies 1800m³, and includes 4 storage warehouses, 3 pear cold storage warehouses and 1 buffer room.

• Under the same refreshment quality and temperature conditions, the refreshment time of pear cold storage warehouse with controlled atmosphere is 3 to 5 times longer than refrigeration storage.
• Since the operation temperature of a pear cold storage warehouse is 0~5℃, which is higher by 18~33℃ than the common low temperature cold storage warehouse, the power consumption of air conditioned cold storage warehouses is much lower than the common refrigeration storage.
• The pear cold storage warehouse uses inert gases to insulate the air, which prevents food breathing, and extends the refreshment period and shelf life. This all ensures the food can be sold later.
• The pear cold storage warehouse uses CO2 to control the atmosphere, which cannot stop the appearance of forced ripening ingredients like C2H4, but can sterilize and eliminate the side effect of farm chemicals.
• The pear cold storage warehouse uses a humidification system which can retain the moisture, color and texture of food. What's more, the controlled atmosphere cold storage also uses the PLC procedure to carry out real time monitoring of parameters.
