Client: Jiaxing Tongji Environmental Research Institute
Project profile
The Jiaxing Tongji Environmental Research Institute needed a cold room to store biological soil, fish and aquatic from the Yangtze River. This cold storage room needed the temperature to remain at a stable temperature as low as -25℃, and keep samples in their original states for up to 30 years.
- In order to satisfy client requirements that the temperature difference does not fluctuate more than 2 degrees, Howcool's refrigeration engineers designed the cold room to use 2 refrigeration equipment in the defrosting process. The 2 refrigeration devices are used to carry out defrosting and refrigeration, ensuring the cold storage room operates efficiently with as little environmental impact and energy consumption as possible.
- Common boards used in cold storage rooms only last about 15 years and are not suitable for long term storage. To solve that problem. Howcool uses double sided stainless steel board, as recommended by our engineers.
- In order to improve the monitor and operation efficiency, Howcool uses a PLC automatic control system in order to conduct real time monitoring of the biological soil, fish and aquatic products inside the cold room, and achieve automatic control over each cold storage room parameter.
