Our client needed to build explosion-proof battery cold storage in three separate cities (Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, and Taiyuan) to store batteries, and they turned to HOWCOOL Design team for the most competitive solution.
Project overviewThe explosion-proof cold storage features flooring made with an SBS waterproof layer, XPS board, PE layer, reinforced concrete layer, and an anti-static floor to meet the explosion-proof and temperature-controlled requirements. The Shenzhen facility spans over 600㎡, divided into three rooms, each with an area of 200㎡ and a height of 6m. The Zhengzhou facility covers 1375㎡ with the same height, while the Taiyuan facility is 446㎡ with a height of 3m. The temperature range for all facilities was set at 10~15℃.
Box type refrigeration compressor units were used for the project, offering higher cooling capacity and lower prices with added safety features. Each room is equipped with a highly efficient air cooler with low noise and a long wind path, making them ideal for cooling batteries.
