Our client needed two separate cold storage units with a PC Center controlled management system: one with a temperature range of 04℃, and the other with a range of 812℃. We also need to provide an energy-saving solution while staying within the client's budget. Plus, the cold storages needed to meet the User Requirement Standard (USD) documents.
Project overviewThe first unit (0~4℃) had dimensions of 18.79*20.66*6.3 m, with a total area of 388㎡and a volume of 2446m³.The second unit (2~18℃) had dimensions of 18.79*20.66*6.5m, with a total area of 388㎡and a volume of 2523m³. We selected 4 sets of 15HP Emerson Copeland compressor units for the first unit, and 4 sets of 12HP Emerson Copeland compressor units for the second unit.
To maintain even cooling rates, we selected 4 sets of Kindel efficiency air coolers for each unit. These air coolers have low noise, a long distance of cooling rate, and are highly efficient in reducing temperature.
To ensure proper temperature and humidity control, we installed a PLC control system that automatically adjusts and records the temperature and humidity levels. The system also has an alarm function to alert staff if the door is closed by mistake, and a long-distance control feature for convenient management.
